And I told Winchester that us 10mm fans would like to see a PDX1 load in 10mm.
What do we think they would load it in if they respond? A 180 grain bullet? 165 grain?
Silvertip ballistics? Faster? Slower?
I have found we have to write these places with what WE want for specs.
I would like to see a 165 grain bullet @1300. If they answer me I will tell them that.
I just sent Winchester an email with the velocity spec.

Thank you for expressing interests in our product. The current offering that we have for 10MM is our 175 grain Silver Tip and it is very popular. If this caliber continues to grow within the shooting community then we would take a look at expanding it with other bullet offerings. At this time there are currently no plans to expand this into our PDX1 line, but we will definitely pass on your question to our engineers for review.

If more manufacturers would step up & produce a variety of loads for the 10, it will naturally become more popular. I understand their hesitation, but at the same time, they could create demand by supplying the ammunition. Doesn't seem like anyone has a problem selling anything they produce in 10!

That's what I thought. I think they've been chrono'd before, but I'll have to check them myself. When I saw the sale and free shipping promo, the wife and I were just doing what couples do: buying thermal underwear for each other for Christmas. ;D

I would be interested to see how these do if you get a chance to chrono them. The guys have been getting ~1140 from a full sized gun, I believe.

I know what you mean. I won't do facebook either. I was actually reading a G&A article (I don't recall which one), and the author wrote that he often puts stuff out on Twitter so I decided to check it out. There actually is some good information out there. I subscribed to (followed) some of our favorite ammunition manufacturers. I also subscribed to the local newspaper for where I hunt in PA. I learned of a bear attack on a young female hunter this way.
Otherwise, I am not much for "tweeting." Lol..
I'm especially getting tired of emails saying please "like" us on Facebook.
I would like you a lot better if you had nothing to do with Facebook.
