I have and enjoy a Gen4 G20, but it is a fairly large chunk to carry for anything other than winter wear. I'm wanting something smaller, but for common function, a Glock would be nice.
I thought about a G29, but its a little longer, a little taller, and a little thicker than its sub-compact family members. A little here a little there, and a bit more somewhere else add up and it adds up. I like 10mm, but perhaps I'd be better served by a lesser caliber. Thoughts????

Carry a gen3 all the time, IWB holster by Crossbreed... very comfy and allow you even to tuck shirt over top into pants ( even when warmer )
The G-29 is slightly shorter in length and height than the G-20, I carry the G-29 or G-30 (both are the same size) in a JS IWB klydex holster fairly comfortably. You can see them at the link below.

G29 (per glock site)
L 6.88"
H 4.45"
W 1.27"
G27
L 6.41"
H 4.17"
W 1.18"
Right now I'm thinking the G27 for general carry.

No doubt the G27 is smaller than the G29.
Like Shadow and Tommac, I carry a G29 as my small gun.
But, if that is bigger than you want a G27 with you is better than a G29 at home.
I normally carry my G26. However, what I really like about the G29 over the G26 & G27 is the rail. I like being able to mount a light on it, particularly when I am at home. I don't think the difference in size between a G26/27 vs a G29 will make much difference in concealing unless you are trying to pocket carry.
I have a light compatible holster from 101 holsters on order for my G20 (http://101holsters.com/101-Glock-LCH-101-GL-LCH.htm). Once that arrives, I will probably be carrying the G20 most of the time.
I carry a gen4 G19 every day AIWB, when I'm not at work. It's small and light enough to conceal easily without unnecessary discomfort, but still holds 16 rounds. I pop a happy stick in it on the nightstand, for 34 rounds before a reload.
I found the larger grip of the 19 is faster out of the holster than the little 26/27 also, without giving up any concealment in normal clothing. If I wore a suit (I don't), I'd chose the 26 though.
I do occasionally carry my G20 or 21 concealed, and it's not too bad, but certainly less comfortable, and a bit slower in a reactive situation.
Part of the comfort issue is just carrying every day and getting used to it though.
I carry my gen 3 G20 IWB in a Overland Gun Leather Axe. I like the arrangement; if I still had to wear a sports coat/suit I'd see my tailor and go with a Alessi Bodyguard shoulder holster.

I just picked up a G29 for when I don't feel like a shoulder holster. I carried it for the past 2 days in a Galco STO298 IWB holster. (their Sto and Go holster). It was pretty comfortable and easily concealable with just a shirt.
