Troopers from Oklahoma Highway Patrol (The Official FB Page) visited with a young girl who has been bullied to let her know they've got her back. Troopers, this is incredible... way to go! ? -B
(Thank you, I Support The Oklahoma Highway Patrol for sharing this photo and story!)
The kindness continues... Three troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol made a special trip to Skiatook today to let an 11-year-old girl know they've got her back. Last night, the 6th grade girl struggled as she told me about the mean things kids did and said to her at school. She cried as she recalled being laughed at by her peers after a high school boy punched her so hard while riding the bus that she was left with a concussion. These three troopers were so touched by her story that they went out of their way to give her an "OHP Protective Bear." She was also presented with a "Junior Trooper Bravery Award" for displaying courage under stressful conditions. Her mom told me the young girl was thrilled by the visit. Thank you, OHP... And may love continue to surround this sweet child.
Awesome!
Way to go OHP!
