The people at KKM said that all I needed was their conversion barrel and it would work fine with existing mags and their new .357 sig barrel. Has anyone done this? Sounds a little iffy to me???
Thanks,
Pat
There are a few people over on Glocktalk who have done it with Lone Wolf conversion barrels. KKM shouldn't be any different.
I use several conversions in my Glocks 20 & 29 the 357Sig is Lone Wolf as shot for the 29 has worked flawlessly!
The chamber is totally supported and tight...the cartridges work just fine from the magazines. :D
POINT OF CLARIFICATION:
It was EFK Firedragon, NOT KKM.
By the way - how do you rate both barrels (KKM vs. EFK Firedragon)?
Pat
I haven't used either the KKM or the EFK. Both have had real good reviews from what I had read over the years. Many swear by the KKM's products. The EFK, is said to be electro discharge etching for the rifling... ??? I have no experience personally so I'd be interested in your evaluation of its performance and case support! 8)
I have the Storm Lake barrels from 2007-08 chambered in 10mm and 40S&W for the G-29 and added the LWD 357Sig & 9x25Dillon in the stock lengths, all have served me quite well.
I have used Bar-Sto 40S&W and 9x25Dillon conversions in my S&W 1006 5" (no longer being made)
My Glock 20 sports a LWD 6" 9x25Dillon and it really brings this cartridge to its ballistic potential!
I have a KKM conversion barrel for .40cal that works like a champ in my Gen4 G20 ... nothing but a barrel swap required. .357sig should be the same...
I have been _very_ impressed with KKM.
Thanks everyone.

If you reload or have a friend that reloads, look into the 9x25 Dillion. I shoot this fireball in one of my g29s
