These haven't been offered yet publicly but I should have some Friday to test. I was told they will be in the 1500 FPS range which should be fine. My plan is to test 2-3 for velocity and send a couple to Raggedyman to gel test. Should make a 6" hole but don't know about penetration.
I am thinking 6 to 8" of penetration on this one.

To give an idea of how they perform. Gel and close shots.
Apartment or HD
Wow that dude was close to the steel plate.
I might have to pick some up for pest control around the homestead.
They arrived today and the plan is to shoot them tomorrow. I'm thinking about taking a hard object to hit with one to see what we get. Should I take Plywood or a piece of 3/4" drywall?

I would say both. Maybe put the sheetrock in front of the plywood, and then see what happens when you put a round into it.
Do you have rain by you today?
It's bad up here.
Rain but it shows clearing later. If it's not too heavy I can still do them quickly from the enclosure.
Updated the subject to reflect 125gr. This is a custom load and a 140gr doesn't exist at this time.
Those look interesting, steel plates being struck should turn them back to dust, other brands of compressed material projectiles even did so in meat. Those shooting steel challenges were looking for non-ricocheting type projectiles for safer range experience. I don't think they caught on because of pricing and cast bullets did bust up on the steel.
Looking for the range report and your experience. :D
Is this the only 10mm frag round out there?
Probably so commercially...
rbcd has fragmenting ammo also commercialy
I remember that one and think it was much lighter (77gr?)
Smoking! Out of the EAA Elite Limited 4.75" barrel 1700, 1715, 1724. Average = 1713 FPS/ 815 LBS :o
Shot at Plywood followed by Drywall. I actually think it was a win because neither type of material made it fragment (watch the impact on the rear bank). Now if it hit something hard like a bone :o
Plywood

Best viewed in 720P or 1080P ;D
Interesting, 8) but you may need a Pineapple! :P

Milo actually wants me to do the Pineapple! Next time...
So unlike the DRT rounds:
Where the composite material totally exploded early, I think these may actually go in a little. The gel test will be the most interesting of these!
It sounds like it is extremely hot from the video.
Are there any pressure signs?
These and the 140's are rather pleasant to shoot plus not as loud. You really should pick up a box of each and try them. Let me get some brass measurements and pictures. I didn't see anything when I picked them up.
Average .421" starting and .431" fired average.

I have to wonder if these are a copper jacket with the compressed powdered copper inside.
There are some frangibles that are completely compressed powdered copper or tungsten/copper formations. I don't think the Tungsten is used for rifled use as that may be harsh on rifling. However they are used in matrix BB's for shotgun with smooth bores.
Varmint rifle rounds are made similar to those DRT with the compressed pellet inside the thin copper jacket, which explodes as the varmints are struck, with pieces parts flying in many directions. One showing a grape being hit.
Barnes has some videos but they require downloading http://www.barnesbullets.com/information/high-speed-video/ (http://www.barnesbullets.com/information/high-speed-video/)
Those look like any 10mm fired brass I have shot.
Very nice.
I didn't see these on their website.
They were a custom for me. If you contact him they can be ordered.
