Title: 9mm & 10mm
Post by: snuffy on October 26 2013 08:12:11 PM MDT
New here and posted in the 10mm section with a little background. Some of my friends load their 9mm ammo with Titegroup and Montana Gold 115gr HPs with great success. I bought the Dillon 650 used and it came with  some powders. I have on hand a good supply of Titegroup, HS6, HS7, and some Solo1000. The guy I bought the setup from loaded 9mm and .45ACP.
I have some Federal and Winchester primers, a ton of brass, and some Berry 147gr plated RN, and some Xtreme 124gr HP bullets. I'm only interested in loading for target and GSSF matches. My wife started shooting and loves it and with the ammo shortage, I figured I needed to get into reloading.
Any recipes for the powder and bullet combos will be appreciated. Shooting these out of Glocks for practice.

Hello Snuffy!  just beware of the plated bullets they don't like to be driven over 1100 fps although some do well above.  Also if you are working on a progressive press loading to conservative levels of performance helps.  If you venture to the upper limits hand weighing and or checking is a must.

Seeing the powders you show could you post some pictures of them for informational/educational views...place about 5 to 8 grains in a scale pan and take a nice closeup at good resolution.  If you have seen some of the pull-downs here you will see an example of what I am referring to in those pictures.

Best regards, :D

Power Pistol is used by many in 9mm and it also works extremely well in 10mm. Based off of what I have seen that would be my main one to do both.

I've used HS-6 for both 9mm and 10mm.

When we get back home I'll certainly make some pictures and post them. I don't plan on loading anything at the upper limits. I only want something the wife and I can practice with and shoot GSSF. I created a monster when I got her into shooting. She wants to shoot something every week. I made some suggestions but she seems to think that would be illegal. I tend to think it would make her very popular. :)) She has improved immensely since June and shoots pretty well. She can't wait until the match in St. Augustine in Nov. Thanks for all the info.
