The linked article seemed to imply that it was not VISA itself, but rather "Credit card gateway Authorize.net" that is responsible for the prohibition against gun sales (even though Authorize.net is apparently owned by VISA).  The gun-selling company (Hyatt) said it is now using a new "credit card gateway" company.  If Hyatt's customers can still buy Hyatt's guns using their VISA card, that would argue that it's not VISA that has made the decision to be anti-gun.

Yes, Authorize.net is responsible for this nonsense ... not Visa.

Both Hyatt's and GRNC sent out emails last week about it.

Curious and cowardly.

They (Visa) aren't strong enough in their convictions to give up their profits, but still make a show of force via a subsidiary holding.
