Here's my Remingtons to the right of the shotguns:

Model 700 Sendero -  300 Rem. Ultra Mag. - Leupold 3.5X10X50 - VX3 B&C

Very nice.  I love my Remington 700 PSS in 300 Win Mag. I have it topped with a Bushnell 3200 Elite 10X40 scope and it is a tack driver.  Not a gun I would want to carry around the mountains though.

I hear you about the weight on the PSS. The Sendero weighs 10 lbs. with scope.
Not a gun to carry around, but they are a solid platform for long range shooting.
I bought this gun for one purpose, Alaska open country moose hunting. It's only carried about 100 yds. up a hillside from hunting camp.
I used the .300 Win Mag for 20 yrs. Excellent do it all choice, doesn't have the heavy recoil of the Ultra Mag.

Pretty tough to go wrong with those Remmy 700s.  Nice collection!
