Title: Posting Pics
Post by: Wilhelm on July 01 2012 01:24:34 PM MDT
I recently posted a couple pics that don't look that great. These started out nice and sharp in my album. When I reduced to 125kb to post as required, they look weak.

Any help would be appreciated.

I use PhotoBucket (free) to host my pictures, they actuall have a built in editor with special effects too.  I copy the url or other img tag and paste it as need.  Works great!

I edit locally then post the results to either my own server or to my google docs account or google sites.  The latter two are free.  Sometimes the original quality doesn't support reduction.  By editing locally I can usually crop just the area I want to show, then I don't have to reduce as much in size.
