Title: Ruger SR 45
Post by: jiminthe burg on September 12 2013 09:06:50 AM MDT
Had a SRC-9 I bought to use for CC but found another handgun that worked better for me.

Tuesday, went to LGS near the outdoor range and while i was interested in a Ruger P-345, I found a SR-.45 and the owner gave me a decent price with the trade-in and on the SR, so, it accompanied me home. Trigger was not too bad for a striker fired h/g and barrel length was 4½".

Could not take it to the range until today and I really like it. Accurate and fed lsw flawlessly. While I have been told my hands are like bear paws, I like the slimness of the grip and it hold 10 rounds of .45.

I don't think I have ever met a Ruger that I did not like and o gosh, I have 6 Rugers

Now if they just made a SR-10.

Think I will e-m the CEO again as I was told he reads e-m re suggestions!

Sounds great, I had written Ruger about a 10 version of the  P-345 several years ago.  :(  Hey getting any manufacture to make a nice 10mm is a good idea! 8)
