pacapcop found this yesterday on gunbot. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting/Ammunition/Handgun-Ammunition%7C/pc/104792580/c/104691780/sc/104372280/Hornady174-Critical-Duty-Handgun-Ammunition/1315051.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fshooting-ammunition-handgun-ammunition%2F_%2FN-1100189%2F&rid=11&WT.tsrc=AFF&WT.mc_id=cj3946285
I called them yesterday to verify that it is in fact 10mm Critical Duty & not something else. A Cabelas rep researched it for me, contacted Hornady, and called me back today. He informed me that it is in fact Hornady 10mm Critical Duty. I failed to ask him if he could find out the velocity when I called him yesterday & Hornady didn't inform him either. He & I both guessed it may be similar to their 180gr XTP, but that is a guess. I order 10 boxes & I hope I'm not disappointed about the velocity! But that bullets works good at a wide range of velocities anyways.
I believe all Hornady duty rounds are made to pass FBI requirements. Should be great round. Don't know if it is full 10 power.
Question:
Glock advertisements for g20 says 550 ft pounds of energy. Is that what they consider full power 10? According to the power chart sticky 600 - 700 is considered full power.

Some of the guys who have contacted Glock were told their 10mm's weren't meant for Buffalo Bore/Underwood level ammo. They actually were test firing their 10mm Glocks with CCI Blazer ammo. So I do believe that is Glock's opinion. If you want to shoot full power ammo out of a Glock 20 I would strongly suggest a 22 pound RSA. I don't have any experience with the 29.
That's a crappy ammo for advertising :o
When someone asks me what full-power is I always say anything >600 ft.lbs
Intresting because it is my understanding EAA test fires the 10 with American Eagle. I seen ad's where the G20 states 550 ft lbs of power from the G20. I run the G20 with Wolffs 22lb spring and steel rod. But again I like to keep it at Norma spec as much as possible or close to that.
So inter cooler did the ammo work ok
Yessir, Intercooler does lots of work. As does Shadow, Raggedyman, and some of the others.
Also, Grim Reaper for hosting this great site.
It works great. I sent a couple to Raggedyman for gel and think the video is on here.
Here is Andrew's test (it was on the sheet!). 8)

A very nice midrange load, and I would not hesitate to carry it into battle.
I possibly sent him a couple more to pump the velocity up in the 1300 FPS range.
