The Corbon 165gr HP looks exactly like a Gold Dot to me. These haven't been tested or pulled down yet.

NFP = not for the public!! I will send The Shadow a few for pull-downs and IF he wants to shoot a few. They are pretty brutal! I believe these to have the 135gr loading but haven't confirmed. I know the last time I shot them they were about 1600 FPS in the Match and 1700 FPS in the Hunter. Anyone opposed to doing them in the 1006? It kills the recoil nicely ;D
Corbon makes their own hollowpoints now, IC. I believe they are cup and core.
These beat the box flap rating of 1250 FPS.
EAA Limited Pro 4.75" barrel
Corbon 165gr JHP 1295, 1302, 1310. Average = 1302 FPS/ 621 LBS
American Eagle 180gr 1086, 1091, 1102, 1098, 1102. Average = 1095.8 FPS/ 480 LBS
Looking at the sheet and what Corbon has been using... my guess is you will find 9.6gr's of Power Pistol in there.
Wow those are good numbers for a company that isn't known for pushing the 10mm to the limit. David had them at 1201 out of his Glock, I believe. Perhaps Corbon is trying to get a niche of the 10mm market back?
Incidentally, I asked the Corbon rep over on Stoppingpower.net if they used a different bullet for the 165 10mm load than the 165 .40 load. He said the velocity difference between the two isn't enough to necessitate changing their bullet design.
Yea, I had David's numbers in the sheet up until I did them yesterday. Everything highlighted in green were done by me.
I ran a bunch of others in the same session including repeats giving the same numbers. Seemed very valid and what I got for results. The pull-down should confirm it even more.
If they keep this up I might have to look at the Corbon 165 as a carry load for PD (not hunting) situations.
I wish I knew how the seemingly new and improved Corbon 10mm ran out of a Glock 20.
I got these from Mr.Redbull. The box looks older but let me see if he did a video of them out of his Glock.
Didn't see a video but I will ask him.

Oh okay. Maybe these were older Corbons, then. I was hoping for the better.
Edit: IC, is there a lot # listed on that box?

SD10165/20 is the PN.
Okay thanks.
I will see what Corbon has to say over on Stopping Power. That site has been down a lot lately though, but I will see if I can get a post in.
Ran the Underwood 155gr TMJ (NFP) out of the Hunter 6" today: 1661, 1657, 1663. Average = 1660.33 FPS/ 949 LBS :o I plan on starting a 6" column today for stuff done in the Hunter. Since this one is discontinued (never was available) it's going in the "discontinued" tab at the bottom.
Corbon 165gr JHP Hunter 6": 1337, 1338, 1328. Average = 1334 FPS/ 652 LBS
Underwood 180gr TMJ Hunter 6": 1373, 1365, 1369, 1357, 1366. Average = 1366 FPS/ 746 LBS
Yea the 6" really brings out the the potential velocity wise...getting that little extra push 8)
Those missiles are pretty nice in a 6". Probably the best suited length for the extremely heavy stuff for recoil, etc... Kind of why I went that route today ;D
The 165's are what I carry in my Delta haven't had any problems with shooting them. Mine are from lot 20100301, wish I could get some of the 200 hunting rounds to shout as well.

Thanks. I would have said 2099 myself on that one.
