I don't know if you have enough travel for feeding or ejection of live rounds. That being said you could do the 45 Super with maybe a recoil spring upgrade (may use the same as 10mm).

That's almost funny...... "Can I put a blown 502 in my Vespa? Answer: No. Anything short of a beefy gas operated system, either won't work or just blow apart. You'll have to look at AMT, DE (the other DE), LAR, etc. Simply, you need a lot more pistol. Nominal pressure for these is around 40K (45ACP x2).
Given the cracked slides on many EAA's... ??? Slide mass has a lot to do with dwell timing so DM1906 raises another good point.

The .45WM is a looooong way from a .45 Super. The .45 super is just a higher pressure .45ACP. The .45WM case alone is nearly as long as a .45ACP cartridge. It's like comparing a .357Mag to a .357Max.
I am with Dm1906. Lot more to this than just a barrel ream. 45 Super should be doable.

It's actually a 21 with a LWD 5.2" reamed for .460 Rowland and the threads cut off to make it easier to carry. It has a Sprinco set up specifically for 460 with a 24# recoil spring. It's really hard to shoot but still pretty awesome. I carry Underwood 45 Super 230gr because I can count on the gun to function with that ammo. I have double standard mag springs in all of my mags, but without the comp it still jams on the last two rounds when shooting 460. 460 is just too damn hot for a straight barrel. 45 Winchester Magnum has a 30mm case where 460 Rowland has a 24.7mm case. And I believe only "Automag" and "LAR" made a 45 Win Mag pistol. There is no standard 45 pistol that I know of that can be converted to 45 Win Mag.
I own a couple of LAR 45 Win Mags and a Wildey in 45 Win Mag.
Trust me, you do NOT want this round going through your Witness. :o

Regardless whether the gun can handle the power of the 45 WM, you don't have enough room in the magazine. It would be stupid to convert to 45 WM but load the rounds short to fit the magazine; it would be no better than just using 45 Super.
The guy with the 460 Rowland is right; you really need a muzzle brake to slow down the slide speed with a hot round like that. I'm convinced that it's necessary even with 45 Super, for reliable function and durability of the gun.
My friend had a Wildey Survivor 45win mag. His grip panels would fall off during shooting. When he used the slide release to chamber a round, it wouldn't put a round in the chamber. It was always a one shot gun, he could never regulate to gas correctly to strip another round from the magazine. He became frustrated with it and ended up selling.
I wonder if the gun really works, you never see a video on youtube, that shows the gun cycling round after round. It's always one pull of the trigger, and the video ends.

The LAR Grizzley's are nice guns. I wish I purchased the 8 1/2' 45 win mag when I had a chance years ago.
