Finally grabbed some for testing but know they are discontinued.

Velocity testing Saturday and if the gel testing starts again... forwarding a few.
What happened to the good velocity these say on the box? Federal isn't like that now but we will see how close they come to box rating. If correct it's real 10mm!

How long ago was this might I ask?
I don't know if they date their boxes. I will look it over!
These are an old Classic.
I would like to see how they perform!
I think he has more if anyone wants to pick up a box or five :D
I just ordered some Underwood 165 fmj. I should be shooting it this weekend. Any word on the velocities? Still the same or slightly reduced?
Still 1400 tested about 2 weeks ago.
Okay thanks.
Tested these today and my guess is the box rating is a 1911 5" barrel. They will hit it at that length!
Limited Pro 4.75" 1286, 1276, 1302, 1299. Average = 1290.75 FPS/ 573 LBS
That's about 20-30 FPS than Hornady's own 155gr XTP load.
Nice midrange load.

I thought the same.
Hunter data for these.
EAA Hunter 6" 1346, 1337. Average = 1341.5 FPS/ 619 LBS
The loaded better back then :(
Were these ever shot into gelatin? I looked on raggedyman's channel and couldn't find a video. I've got a decent quantity of these bullets loaded in .40sw that I bought for $14/50 and have often thought about taking the bullets out, reusing the 40sw cases for fmj plinkers and then loading these 155g Hi Shoks into 10mm to make some cheaper 10mm hp's, never knew they did it from the factory!
Lucked out and found 10 boxes of this stuff.
The real deal, real sweet.
Just wish I could find out when they were made. Like to keep some around.
