I haven't personally done these but wanted to find a single box and whalaa!

The Shadow and Raggedyman will a few to work with. I hope the weather gets better soon for Raggedyman... lots of tests to do!
According to Mas Ayoob, this load had a failure to stop early on in the 10mm's use by police departments.
Hey Cool! 8) Be glad to Pull'em for a good look! ;D I think I have some Hornady 170 gr handloads stashed somewhere. They where great shooters too.
Today was the first day with out rain here in quite some time. We have had almost 10" already this month! :o This evening was spent cutting my mom's acreage, spots were still fairly wet, but got it done! :D
David Chronographed these before (in the sheet) but I'm wondering if we should experiment? If I a few extra extra rounds to Raggedyman would it be worth trying to up the velocity to 10mm range? A 600lb producer basically?
What did David get form the ones he tested? ??? 1100 fps?
You are looking at 1150 blazing FPS :)
That is 40 S&W. Let's torque those suckers up to 1300. 8)
Edit: Here is the PMC 10mm in gel. The listed velocity for this test is 1203 fps:

Did I miss some information? I didn't see any data?
They post the velocity at the beginning of the video & also on their website http://brassfetcher.com/index_files/10mmAutoSlowMotion.htm
It looks to do quite well to me from their video. But that is the only test I am aware of. I would like to see Raggedyman test these loads.
You would hope they were loaded a little heavier than 1150 fps. If you can spare 2 bullets I will load them to 1300+ fps and shoot them into wetpack.

Brass Fetcher didn't put penetration or expansion numbers.

Brass Fetcher didn't put penetration or expansion numbers.
Yeah they never do.
Well it was entertaining to watch ;D
Brassfetcher includes that data in the summary table http://www.brassfetcher.com/10mm%20Auto/10mm%20Auto%20Summary%20Table.pdf. But not always the same load that they have in their videos or sometimes at a different velocity. In this table they only show a Remington load. But, they do include expansion as square inches rather than diameter.
Based on the velocity and remaining energy when the bullet exits the 10" gelatin block it would penetrate around 16". I am basing that on comparing it to other videos on their website that also have data on their summar tables.
Not bad looking ammo. If Raggedyman gets cranked up again I will send these with the others for gel.

Velocity test Saturday!
Tested these today. Whatever powder they use stinks and gives off some kind of weird poof :o
Limited Pro 4.75" 1068, 1111, 1112, 1108, 1108, 1108. Average = 1101.4 FPS/ 458 LBS
I was shooting only a magazine full of those today. Rather light recoil but rather bright flash. I'm a little disappointed in the velocity. Much lower than brassfetcher recorded in his test.
