Is this woman guilty of a crime?
She did not retreat.
She stood her ground and retrieved her property.
She physically attacked this man.
She could have called for help and did not.
She could have just let him have what he took and be on her way.
She could have asked him politely to please give her stuff back.
Instead she took the Law into her own hands and attacked this man doing him great bodily harm. Guilty I say, Guilty, Off With Her Head!

Perfect ! ! !
I love how not a single person stopped to assist him either
I didn't see reason for retreat since her personal property was attacked, but not her.
I also don't see that she stood any ground or that any ground was there to stand on. To me it looked like she simply actively attacked moved on to attack, did attack, and protected her personal property, which in most places you have a right to do.
Even though things could have went differently and ended up badly for her, she certainly handled her own well, and others were in the immediate vicinity that could have jumped in to help her if it looked like she needed any help. Maybe she only had an intention of asking for help if things escalated badly for her deeming the need of assistance to her.
Yes, she could have chose to let him steal her stuff. Yes, she could have politely asked the thief to return her things, though it doesn't look like her cared much about giving her belongings (I'm assuming they were her belongings to have ownership of) back.
Maybe he could have just not chose to be a thief in the first place? I'ld say he might just be lucky she didn't appear to be carrying a firearm.
The only problem I saw was with the guy robbing her in the first place. Glad to see it didn't go so well for him. Maybe now he'll consider turning from his evil ways. Doubtful I suppose.
Seems almost fake. Usually on a snatch and grab the guy runs like crazy. He turns around? Also the people in the hall don't pay much attention or stop to see what is going on.
Good for her. He deserved it and hope he learns a valuable lesson and turns his ways around. Doubt it though, but I hope so.
I would like to believe in the good of people but its hard.

Pretty much what I was thinking, or staged for a PSA video or something.
