I was able to go hog hunting this weekend. Friday night about 12 midnight this hog stepped out under a feeder looking around for dinner., I fed him jacketed lead ;D.Caliber 8MM GNR (405 Winchester necked down to 8MM ) 185gr Remington PSP at 2150 fps, shot was 60 yards under a red light made by texasboars.com. Boar weighed about 150 lbs.

That is nice hog I bet there was recovering that bullet right through?
I want to get back into Contenders I really miss them they are so cool for playing with allot of different things and ammo it is great fun platform to own.
You the man Sean! :D
Should be a tasty pig/hog...
Trapping them, then keeping them penned up and purged on quality feed and fresh water, would go a long ways to a better tasting meat after about two weeks.
One thing about wild animals is you never know if they are being poisoned? ??? Hogs can handle poisons without much affect but eating the meat can be harmful to those that consume the meat. :o

I've never noticed that, but damn.... That could explain a lot. Maybe could explain the clairvoyance and excessively large appendages.
That's awesome! 8)
