Saddening but true ..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0he0cqHH20&feature=youtu.be
There is no doubt that the common person on the street knows very little of current events
I fear for the direction this Country is headed
I wish the ignorant and low information voters would stop going out to vote.
That story (or ones like it) have been run with some degree of regularity for quiet some time and depending on who is in office the results are interpreted to reflect on the incumbent government. If memory serves, the last time such a story ran the "public" all agreed that either the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence, was some kind of Marxist tract.
God help us.
Very Sad! Sheeple being led to slaughter! No clue! :o
Redline, as long as free stuff is being peddled and people continue to focus on the one eyed god (TV) Kardashians, Honey Boo Boo, Dancing with the Stars and the idolizing of sports, which don't get me wrong is harmless. But it's the idolizing of such where one can roll off the tongue of stats, shoe size and what their favorite color is. On another note, we are being lied to every day on the economic state that were really in. The stats are a bold face lies issued by gov't to the point of insulting to the least awake sheeple. Until the day I walk into a establishment and hear talk of anything meaningful as we are aware of, im afraid it's bad, real bad. When people who are older, say 65 and over are saying im glad im old because of what they know and witness today,we are in trouble.
I hear ya. All true. :(
Just goes to show, there should be at least a basic questionnaire before you can vote.
And, for a vote in a house race where budgets are decided, it should begin "Have you paid federal income taxes in the last 12 months?"
No representation in budget matters, without taxation.

I don't think anyone living 100% off Welfare and Food Stamps beyond 1 year should be allowed to vote.
(Not referring to disability or retirement benefits.)
I don't think anyone convicted of a felony should be allowed to vote.
(If a felony wipes out 2nd Amendment rights, why should it allow 26th Amendment rights?)
You can only vote if you've never bee convicted of a felony, served in the military during time of war honorably discharged and own property.
That ought to cut it down ;D
