Bought 100 once fired 10mm cases. A lot of them had an "A USA" headstamp which I've never seen before. Thought maybe Amerc was trying to duck their bad brass reputation, but found out is was made by Armscor, instead.
Can you post a picture? I'd like to check it out.
USA/Armscor is junk brass. I don't even mess with it any more. If I spot them before hitting the sizer, they go in the bin. If none of yours are split, that means whoever you got them from threw away 400 split to get you 100 unsplit.
No splits. But they were the hardest of the many brands to size. I still plan to reload them, and prove to myself if it crap brass.
Well it may not be the best brass out there but I have reloaded some of them with fairly hot loads and fired them without issues and can reload them again! Hey if it ain't broke or split go for it! :D

Not right now, they are in the vibrator getting cleaned after sizing. The place I bougght them from did NOT do a good job of cleaning them first. I can tell they used walnut because little bits of it were all through the bag. I prefer corncob because it makes them much shinier.
Grog like shiny tings!
