Hard to find so grab it!
Thanks IC, just ordered a box. ;D
I'm gonna take heat for all these ammo purchases but this was also on my test list 8)
Sold out now. Curios, what was the price?
$49/1000 rounds. I bought 500 Remington Golden Bullets yesterday for $23.
In stock when I ordered this morning.......I got the order confirmation later today from Cabela's and it stated backordered. :P Oh well, I guess BO'd is better than no backorders taken. ;D
On the same subject I received an email from Dawson Precision saying magazines were being steadily received and backorders were now being shipped. Maybe a few things are catching up........
I purchased 9mm twice locally this week. I haven't done that in 6 mos :o
Dawson is back-ordered on my Hunter sight and EAA has no 9mm mags for my conversion. So I wait!
Why rush these things! Enjoy the down time... 8)
Got an email from Cabela's today saying the 22 ordered almost a month ago is .....still on backorder. :))
Me too and I will just wait.
This downtime is why we reload....

Wow, you reload 22 cal? :))
Like IC, I'll leave it on b/o. Did get 1k small pistol and 1k large pistol CCI primers today at the local Bass Pro. They also had some Federal large mag primers. All were by the 100, not boxes of 1K.
Actually the opposite....
Reloading is why I rarely shoot 22 anymore.
I received a ship date for Monday. Hope you got yours.

They arrived today. Black Copper plated! Will be interesting to see how they do.
I wonder what the black coating is and why it's there if some reason other than looks.
Mine arrived today, too. Black copper is probably just some marketing ploy off Black Talon or something. :))
Could it be a Copper / Molly blend ?
Far be it for me to say, but my guess would be their copper plated and then painted with something that either is black or is colored black.
Either way I guess it doesn't matter much. It's not like it's some magical 22LR round capable of doing something no other 22LR round hasn't accomplished in the past. For quite a few years already they've been adding a black coating to a bunch of the premium rifle bullets they load from Nosler and whoever else in their ammunition.
For that matter I'm pretty sure Nosler does it on their own for Winchester in their Combined Technology line of bullets.
I would guess some kind of moly coating over the copper.
