I'm looking for a good conceal holster for my first gen S&W .40 Shield. Being 5' 10" and 175lb I have trouble hiding a pistol, also I wear my shirts tucked in 99% of the time. For guys with similar builds, what are you using?

I like the Vedder Lighttuck.
Pros:
- LIghtweight design
- Doesn't break the bank
- Works for both appendix and hip
- Easy to remove gun/holster together when you have to take your gun off
Cons:
- No against the body padding, some find it uncomfortable
- No against the pants padding, may print depending
- It's kydex which is only a con if you don't like kydex
- Not modular, if you want an OWB holster too, get a different holster
Other holsters I have carried and liked include the Crossbreed Supertuck and Aliengear cloak tuck.
Pros:
- Padded design spreads the pressure
- Doesn't break the bank (AlienGear)
- Less visible bulge
- Swappable shells (Aliengear)
Cons:
- Two clips to notice instead of one
- Basically no retention when the holster is off body
- I can't get it back on without dropping my pants
- Crossbreed is a bit spendy
If you have a cover garment or can live without tucking, I also really like the Galco Summer Comfort. It is a classic for a reason.
