Any of you own, or have shot the Thureon Defense 10mm Carbine? They appear to be reasonably priced, but no one seems to have them in stock
Saw That the Thureon Defense 10mm Carbine weighs in about the same as your hi-point Kenk. They care Glock mag compatible so that's huge plus. I also saw that Bear Creek has a glock compatible 10mm AR.
I?d really like to pick up the CMMG BANSHEE 300 MK10, but struggle with the 14 - 16 most are asking
I agree they are pricey. I'm still holding out for someone to come out with a Lever gun in 10mm. The Henry 357 Mag is really nice gun but i want a 10mm so both rifle and handgun use the same ammo and only need to carry one type of ammo.
There's only one company offering to convert a Marlin to 10mm right now and it's about $1950 + your donor gun. Too rich for my blood.
Have you considered purchasing a G20 frame and a Mec Tec conversion? The Mec Tecs are about $500. I don't own one, but others on this forum say they're reliable and accurate. That gets you in the 10mm carbine w/Glock mags for under the cost of the Thureon Defense PCC.
Like you graybeard bit more than I?m willing to spend. I?m Just going to stick with a Henry lever gun.
I actually looked at one yesterday in 357 mag. Went back today during my lunch time to get it. It was sold and no more in stock. So now I?m going to either go back tomorrow and get a Henry in 44 mag or track down another 357. Disappointed it was sold but maybe I was meant to get a 44 ?
I would like to see a DI gas operated AR upper in 10mm. The rounds fit fine in a standard AR magazine. They just have to pushed way to the back. A spacer could be made and the follower shortened and a spring that's not as wide (front to rear) 10 inch barrel with carbine length gas tube.... Should work. Need some mods to the bolt face.... ...
