Title: Anyone else shot a 327 Federal Mag
Post by: Wyocaddis on March 16 2023 02:04:25 PM MDT
Have a blackhawk in 32-20 anyone else shot the 327 Single 7. looking for good h110 loads for 327. My 32-20 is close to 30 carbine loads. 327/32-20 makes an excellent varmint load out of a revolver. found an article by Jeff Quinn listed data close to 327 loads.

85gr bullet 17 gr H110=1700 fps from 5.5 barrel
100gr Bullet 16.5gr. H110=1600 from 5.5 barrel

Anybody have any experience with these loads?

Thought about a 327 and have shot one belonging to a friend. LOTS of blast! If I want more power than the .32 H&R Mag, but not up to .44 specs and recoil, I go to a .357 Mag.

For now, our .32s are all .32 H&R Mags shooting either 115 or 125gr cast bullets or 100 gr XTPs.

from the FWIW department; Have a bud in ID who killed a cow elk with a neck shot a couple of years ago with a .32 H&R and a 100gr XTP.  Not even sayin' the.32 H&R is a recommended elk round, but, In the right hands some things will surprise you.
