Title: Brass catcher
Post by: gadabout on July 11 2022 04:39:33 PM MDT
Just arrived from Amazon!! It's arm mounted net arrangement that is set up very well and enough adjustment to make it work for anybody and any handgun semi auto I feel. I will test tomorrow and report back.  Craig

Well I can't seem to copy the link but if you search for "Amazon arm held brass catcher" no quotes it should take you there.  Craig

Second row second one over from the left. I didn't see a name. The picture has a pink plastic gun in it and it's 36.95. Let me know if you need anymore info. On after some study I don't think it is good left handed.  Craig

Typical for us Southpaws. Nothing works and we have to hunt to hell and back to find stuff. It is hard being perfect!!!

Catcher is working better but I still need to adjust it some more. Shooting 41ae at 1.00 each is motivation enough to work on it more.  Craig

the ad I saw for it says it is made by Grayco. the same company tht makes child car seats and other plastic stuff.
I'm guessing but it looks to me that it can be used on the left arm if you turn the net bag inside out?

Well I didn't try that and it might work. Ken all I saw was three letters that might be the company name and one was G so it might be Graco but really I would look at all the nets pictured as most are a lot cheaper. I am still bending on mine to make it work better!! Craig

Search in the modern world is as influenced as much by your history as it is by your search terms.  So, the terms that got you good results may not for someone else.  Though it sounds like you are not thrilled with yours.

I think this is the one you got.  Price matches.  Gun is pink.  https://www.amazon.com/Brass-Catcher-Pistol-Matte-Black/dp/B095RQ11PX

BTW back from shooting and yet forgot to take the catcher with me. Kind of sums me up. Craig

My Glock 34 is ejecting the brass back at my face and missing the net altogether!! Not sure what to do about that.  Craig

Yesterday I was sweeping brass into a dust pan I found at the range as a range friend was using a  squeegee and I cam back with over 100 empties but only shot 30 or so. The range guy was upset because he had allready cleaned and put like 500+ rounds in there can whitch we can't touch after it gets put in there!! They have a 55 gallon drum full of brass they save for there back stop cleaning company. It's all part of a deal they have with the company. At leased you get to keep your brass and any other left as you get yours. The range guys are real good about helping me get extra every time I shoot.  Craig
