Rick not sure what bullet that is...The Wide Flat Nose plain base or Gas Check might need to be seated below 1.2500"  Have seen some WFN seated to 1.2400 for better feeding.

That?s really getting down there at a suggested 1.22-1.23?

I did read that as the wide MEPLAT can affect the tipping angle as the cartridge tries to enter the chamber.
Being seated deeper also requires loaded powder charges to be adjusted somewhat.

I tried that boolit using 10 grains of Blue Dot seated to a COAL of 1.24. My reloading notes say at that COAL they tended to bind a little towards the end of the magazine. I chronographed the load in my STI Perfect 10 at a velocity of 1216 fps. I also shot them for function through my Glock G40 and Dan Wesson Bruin with no malfunctions noted.

I switched to MBW's NOE 200 grain WFN GC boolit seated to 1.24, fueled by 10 grains of Blue Dot. It chronographed in my Glock G40 with KKM barrel at 1275 fps and in my STI Perfect 10 at 1257 fps. The NOE version has a narrower meplat at .300 vs a meplat of .325 on the WFN PB version.  No binding in magazines noted with the NOE version.

I havent used this bullet. I have an accurate 200 WFN and a MP 402-200.

The MP feeds and functions @ 1.247/50.
The Accurate is about the same dia meplat but profile is fatter and I am powdercoatung them so I need to seat it super deep!

I use to use allot of BDot as it was always great and 10g W/that MP is a good load producing lo 1200's from the 6" kkm. But got some spratic vel spikes with the deeper seated accurate so I switched to Power Pistol.
I tell ya right now Im sold on PP in the heavy 10 loads!!! Im able to surpas book loads withiut pressure signs and very respectable stabile velocity!! Suprizingly very close between the short Accurate and the normal MP!!!

Accuracy is tops too. My g29 breaks 1100 with that load and the G40 is 1260 ish. My goal was 1200 + so I am very happy.

Afternoon CW, what weight charge are you using with the 200gr / Powder Pistol load to achieve the 1,200?s range, something like 8.0gr? These would be shot from a P220 Elite
Thanks man!

Hello Man,

My loads are worked up safe in my guns. So I hesitate to share as it may not be safe for your gun.

BUT, I have repeatedly found power pistol to be quite forgiving. So start as suggested and work up.
