Title: Ballistic test of the 147gr Xtreme X-Def
Post by: Pctechdude on January 20 2022 09:55:08 AM MST
So this is the first time I've done this but hopefully will get to continue doing so once more funds become available.

Yes I know the clear ballistics gel block is very dark, it has been used many times for rifle tests and recast.

If you have any suggestions or something you want to see, let me know!

Thanks Kenk! Much Appreciated!

I have to admit that I'm really impressed by these. Keep the 124gr under 1120fps and they should do fine. Honestly, probably one of the best bullets available for sub compact pistols. It's very easy to achieve 1100fps in a 3.1" barrel with standard pressure. I tested with a shield and Glock 43, 6gr silhouette 1.105" overall length. Great expansion and penetration. Not many sub compacts achieve both. Expansion was .659" in bare gel, 13" penetration.
