California is writing a bill that copies the Texas abortion bill. This will allow any private citizen to sue the seller or manufacturer of "assault weapons."

Isn't that in direct conflict with existing federal law? Sounds like it's another pointless, time and resource consuming, distraction from solving real problems in California. So basically what one would expect from Newsom.
Look at the bright side...Kalifornia's brain-dead commie voters are getting exactly what they deserve. More 'gun control', and those crazy laws that encourage mob looting will draw criminals to Kali (away from here).
Keep up the good work, Newsom...your flock of idiots (and I) love what you're doing to them!
Dumb stupid State, that?s all I can say
let them wallow in their own mess!
The crazy of California aside...
This is the problem with what Texas did. They are asking the Supreme Court to create a new constitutional process to limit rights of citizens. Once the process is certified with a supreme court ruling, then expect to see lots of other rights restricted using the same tactic.
Big Greedy Government Overreach for Total Power and Total Control over the people is not to be tolerated as they turn us into "Government Slaves", while destroying Freedoms, Liberties and Inalienable Rights of We The People.
Our State is gonna do X cause that State did Y.... Sounds like the sober, well-conceived thought process of a 5 year old. Let them take their best shot, inevitable that they were anyway... Anything along those lines would be patently unconstitutional.
Exactly which amendment to the Constitutional addresses the "right" of abortion right up to the moment of natural childbirth again? What no such amendment exists? That's not what MSM says... Sounds like propagandists to me.
If Newsom feels that strong about it; the processes to amend the Constitution are well documented.
Well put Rojo!
