Went into my local gun store to pick up my new XD-M. Noticed they had 9mm and 45acp ammo in stock. I don't need any but still, the price for a box of 50 rounds...$150.

$150!!!

Gosh, I could make a small fortune with what I have on hand, but will not be one of those guys, let alone deplete my stash

Had an email from Midway last week Federal 175 gr 762 LR118 w/ HPBT MK. $61.99 for 20 rounds.

It's obvious that they don't want to sell any ammo, they're hoarding it for themselves, and if someone is desperate enough to pay that much, so be it. ;D I would not patronize that shop any longer, though, and I'd tell them why, in no uncertain terms.
