Title: Communication with Underwood ammo
Post by: Kenk on April 13 2021 02:55:33 PM MDT
Hi, so why is nothing available via your ordering portal or is it all going to big box stores?, Kevin needs to consider what's more important and will call him, please advise

We are stocking on our website when the components become available, the best thing to do is to sign up to be notified by email, when we do put ammo in stock it will sell out within minutes or hours depending on the round, these are very trying times in this industry please bear with us.

It's ridiculous right now. After I saw the shortages start back at the beginning of the pandemic I got my hands on enough components to make about 2,000 rounds. And that's where I sit. No shooting. I have about 3,000 rounds on hand for emergency. Won't be going to the range to waste it, that's for sure.

Yes it will take some time to get better, but given the current political climate it might be spotty here and there.
Metals have gone up in price, thinking about the metal that is being used for the brass casings, primer cups an the copper and lead for projectiles it will be an added cost all the way around.
Remington is coming back on line with their ammo plant so that could also help some...

Then with the surge of NEW firearms owners all needing ammo it has taken the supplies by storm.

I expect prices to stay elevated buy BEWARE of SCALPERS as they buy up to resell!
