Was thinking about a Tanfoliga 9mm I got lately and I thought I had put it in one of the safes. Well I couldn't find it of course and have been looking for a couple of days. This morning I really looked and it was right where I had put it in the original box and I had been looking for the gun and holster. Oh well it could be worse. Craig
I have been looking for about 6-8 months for a deal on an 8-10" AR-15 barrel in 300 blackout. I had a carbine but wanted to build a pistol.
About a month ago I cleaned my office and found that I already had one. No idea when I bought it. The pistol is now complete and ready for testing.
Sounds a lot like my brain damage!!! Ha Ha. Craig
Lol, must be a 60 plus thing, happens to me also
I agree Kenk. I'm still looking for the boxes of .410 shell I put up last fall.
Well at leased you guys don't make me feel so bad. I keep thinking I need to clean up more but a whole 9mm gun you can't find and it is where you thought it was but you can't find it makes me wonder!!! Craig
sounds like a medical condition common to us old farts. its called CRS or Can't Remember Sh&^ ;D
I am kind of hoping I don't remember this whole thread. Ha Ha!! Craig
Dang! 60 is just around the corner for me; is this what I have to look forward to?
Is what do you have to look forward too? Oh my god I can't remember. Craig
Sometimes if we are going to be gone for a bit like days to weeks-vacation, etc I will not put everything in the safe, I'll hide a lot of things in plain sight. Idea being if they hit the house and the safe they won't get all of them. On bolt rifles I often put the bolt in a different location. All pretty much in plain sight mind you. I'm apparently much better at hiding things than I thought. This has lead to more than a few anxious days looking for something that should have been "right there".
It did lead to acquiring a spare Rem 700 bolt and a complete 300 Winmag. So all was not lost. :)
