Glad to be here. New to the 10mm. No ammo to be found so I'm glad I can roll my own. Picked up a Glock G30.4 with a 10mm conversion barrel. I've been loading up some XTP's and some hard cast to go to the range and put her through her paces. I'm sure I'll have some questions along the way.
Welcome to the site and caliber. You will enjoy them both.
Welcome Jon!
Hey Jon, I have considered doing a 10mm conversation with my G30 - gen 3, but have been a bit discouraged after much research on it, as complete reliability doesn't appear to be achievable, plus there appears to be potential extractor issues. Any thoughts on this would be great
Ken
Mustang Jon, Welcome to the forum! Many do exchange the extractor on the 45 Caliber conversions for the 10mm conversion!
I think it is the rim of the 10mm is a little bit thicker 1.40 mm vs 1.24 mm for the 45ACP is the main reason.
Be interested in your range reports so be sure to post your results...
Best regards! :D

I got the Double Diamond conversion barrel from The GlockStore. Their claims are you don't have to change anything when using their conversion barrel. I know of a few people using these DD conversion barrels with no failures at all with thousands of rounds fired. So I'm hopeful, and I'll report back after going to the range. If I can find enough ammo to test it out, now isn't a good time to get into a new caliber. I cast a 175gr bullet but finding brass is the main problem. I even found some longshot powder if they can ship it in a reasonable amount of time.
Thanks Jon, am looking into I now
