Title: New issue but not a real problem
Post by: gadabout on March 04 2021 11:12:01 AM MST
Well with the on going shortage of reloading supplies I have started depriming the brass then wet tumbling and then resizing and finally flare.  All this sounds great but all you have left to do is powder, bullet and taper crimp. My point is I like to do them all at one sitting not two days but with the supplies being low I don't want to do rounds that I don't really need. Also friends might need something else and I might be out of something I might need to do them. Maybe it's time to go to Florida. Like I said not really a problem but more of an annoyance.  Craig

Not likely but you could possibly hookup with a lease or property owner

Just kidding I am not a hunter just a reloader that shoots a few to test.  Craig

You may want to consider taking it up. Between the challenge, the pre-hunt scouting, and the preparation, it's tough to beat it

I certainly don't have any issue with people doing it but I have never done it except once I went on a deer hunt and never saw a deer!!! I like to hunt the bullseye on the paper but really just like to reload. I give away much more than I shoot and like that aspect of it. When I first got to this town the local restaurant family were in a panic as they were all taking their concealed carry class and couldn't find any rounds to buy. I of course fixed them up with 100 each 380. 9mm, and even 38sp.  All passed and got their licensees. Boy I could do no wrong in that restaurant.  Craig

Well I just dropped about 450 rounds on the ground!! Broke 2 plastic boxes, bullets everywhere. Got um all cleaned up but what a struggle. With spring coming I can get some rounds unloaded on some friends. That'll make some room.  Craig

Lol, happens to the best of us; better that than spilling primers everywhere 😂

I would loose it if they were primers!!! I have a pickup stick that lets you pickup small items without bending over. Wouldn't have even tried it without it. Oh well. Ha Ha.  Craig

Lol, not so much with the primers, that's when you cop a squat on the floor 😂

Ken the loaded rounds would not even sweep up??  I had to get them one at a time but at leased I had the pickup tool. Primers, no way!!! I guess I would have to crawl over to them with a plan to crawl back to a place where I could pull myself up to my feet. Who would have known that retirement would be such a hassle!! Craig
