Title: TruGlo TFO (Tritium/Fiber Optic) Sights For My Razorback
Post by: The Earl o Sammich on February 14 2021 03:59:54 PM MST
Been diggin this Fiber Optic sight on My Tang Witness Match (Dawson) and started looking into gettin something for my Razorback  Anyone know anyone?  I did the front on the Tang myself and that was pretty easy.  Have a sight pusher but not sure If I want to tackle the front sight with it.  Might do the TruGlo front and rear.  What say ye?

I have the TruGlo TFO sights on an M&P 9. I shot that gun a lot at steel shoots and the front sight did fail on me at a shoot. Basically, the tritium vial slid out and I was left with a front sight with a hole in it. TruGlo wasn't exactly easy to deal with but they did send me a new front sight. I heard from others that TruGlo was making excuses about end users cleaning with the wrong solvents, etc. Eventually, they seemed to just drop that nonsense and replace the failed sights.

I really like the green/yellow version. Very bright in sunlight and easy to not mix up the dots in the dark. I've installed 3 or 4 sets of these for other people. The front sight takes some patience and may require sanding the bottom slightly, if it's too tight in the dovetail. If you're mechanically inclined, I say go for it.
